Delusion... Part II

Sometimes its easy to be Alice and be in Wonderland or Mr. Anderson in the Real World. Its hard to be living around here. You get a weird feeling that its not going as planned. An Urge to get out of this place, but still waiting for the red moon. A sense of no one is listening nor nothing gets into your head when you are listening. Never been interested in Chemistry and still balancing the equation. The unwanted irk on a thing that's worth a laugh. Waiting for the orange screen! People come, they begin and move on before they complete the context. What can you pray for now? A wish, A curse, anything sane. The roads are thick and clear, they are again two in number. Do you have enough gas to drive through it? Sure said somebody. Those reminders keep ringing again and again and still you drink only a quarter of the milk that you get. [Segmentation Fault]

Actor Vijay, his Dad (actor come politician) made one of the classic movie spoof team, "Lollu sabha" to apologies to the public for spoofing one of the Vijay movies. Now here is one more creation from an Anonymous. 

Hold our breath and listen. I laughed soo much. :) Kodos to the guys who did it. Vijay fans enjoy this!!! Now this is the punishment if you score less in your exams! :P

Birthdays, Cakes and 79

I archive photos, I archive photos like mad. :-) That's a serious hobby leave it. Browsing the archive I noticed this series of cakes I tasted. I wish I had all the *other* cake snaps too. Trust me this is only 10% of the total cakes I would have tasted. Cake walk, Just bake are some of the outlets in Bangalore we regularly knock into.

This is one of the special cake. Its a White Forest. We got this for our college farewell. But fortunately the guy (Mr.Gethu) stacked the cake vertically. That's why you can see both the sides tapered and the cake looks oval in shape.

This was for my class PR. That guy fortunately had fever to escape from the bums that year. Unfortunately I don remember the flavor.

This was one of the three cakes of my previous Birthday! :) It was a Black Forest. I wonder what all people imagine to write on the cakes.

Ah! This one is a Chocolate Fantasy. Its all faint memories of tasting this cake. All I remember was people using it as a facial. Yeah yeah, you read the first work right. :P

This cake was the heights! Its a Pineapple Flavor. Look at the essay writing on the cake. The vendor would have been sigh on getting this done. See how many candles, I guess the Birthday boy would have been burnt before he blew them off.

There are many others! I'm not remembering many of them.

Saints: Show me the money

Well, I'm a person who believe in God, but not a spiritual person. When it comes to taking care of the self, I will be last in the line. Apparently I came across a certain things that annoyed me.

Isha Yoga - I have huge respect for this organization. I have attended the basic course of Inner Engineering and I liked the teaching. Recently there is a trip with the guru to Manasarovar. Its a 15 day event and the itinerary was neat. Soon one of my friend who came to know this, gave a ring to a 'volunteer' to know the details. We were shocked to know the cost of this 15 day expedition costs Rs 1,70,000. Holy S#^*. Soon probed the broucher to see why this cost, they have mentioned about Flight travel and 5 star hotel stay. Once you climb the mountains, its just Himalayas and you. Its only the base camp's you would get these lavish accommodations. Still including Nepal, China visa and flight changes it just comes less than a lakh. Who moderates them? No one...

All these organizations get the money for their course as a donation to the organization from the participant. So does it applicable for tax?

Sankar brought an important point when it comes to Isha. I totally agree with him. The base camp of this org is at the foot hills of vellingiri. Approx 5 kms inside the forest area and they have occupied a huge habitat land of Elephants. Around the ashram there is electric fence to avoid elephants! How did the government allow this? Why cant they have their base in a urban area?

Shiv Yog - Here is another guru who claims to bring inner joy. His teachings is happening in palace ground in Bangalore. The basic course fee for a 12 day discourse is Rs9000. But that's for the people in the last few rows. If you want to get a closer view of the guru, pay more Rs 40,000 to get somewhere in the middle. Finally its Rs 80,000 for the first rows. Its all donation!!! Heights of this is still you need to pay all the money and go one hour before to catch a place. What the ...

Its become a modern day cash cows. I'm happy until its spend for a good cause rather than buying a Mercedes Benz..
